A recovering engineer turned author, Kathi loves a tidy solution and a straight line. However, her writing style proves to be anything but predictable and orderly. She lets her hopeless romantic sensibilities shape coming of age stories, which are based on characters or places that have affected her own life. 

Kathi was raised in Montana, and she attended Montana Tech University.  She met a brown eyed hunk on the first day of college and married him years later. Together they traveled the country with their careers in heavy civil construction. After living in 6 states in 8 years, they returned to Montana, where they now live with their two sons. When she isn’t writing or reading, you can find her at the lake or in the mountains. Or maybe at her sons’ sporting events, mommin’ hard.
